Abi is a Brighton, UK-based researcher who entered the screen industries as a trainee researcher with the MAMA Youth Project. After graduating and learning the fundamentals of working on a TV show for Sky Arts, she worked as a junior researcher for a weekly live studio show on Channel 4. She increased her knowledge and skillset by working as a production secretary for an independent production company making documentaries for BBC Three, subsquently returning to work as a researcher for a pilot series.
Abi recently took time out to visit her family in Ecuador for the first time. Since returning to the UK in January 2023, she has undertaken multiple training courses in the camera, production, and art departments whilst seeking new work opportunities and coordinating social media content for a local yoga and wellness studio. Abi aspires to work in development alongside emerging writers for new programming ideas.
