Statement

Emily Hawkins is a British-German film and media composer who combines orchestral and electronic elements with ethereal vocals and evolving textures. Deeply moving, quirky, evocative, her music never fails to enhance storytelling and elicit strong emotions.

Emily has worked on a broad range of projects, from films and library music to corporate audio branding, dance projects and podcast themes. Recent projects include the documentary “The Last Cheetah’s of Solitaire” with director Mandy Mendelsohn, feature films “Eine Wütende Frau” with award winning director Antonia Uhl and “Ende des Kreises” with Mareike Sophie Danisch. She is currently working with Epix Soundworks on the animated kids’ series “Stomp! Stomp! Rhinos!” (OAK9 Entertainment).
Her biggest passions are drama and documentary.

In 2023 she was nominated for the European Talent Award at Soundtrack Cologne and she was part of the 2025 CFA Cohort at Vancouver International Film Festival, where she recorded with a 20-piece orchestra at The Warehouse Studios.
