I am a Venezuelan filmmaker and screenwriter based in the UK, with a practice spanning feature films, shorts, and documentaries that explore identity, resilience, and underrepresented voices. My feature, Family Pride, Queer Aside, examines queer parenting in a country without LGBT rights and has been used in academic and educational contexts internationally. My shorts include The Refuge, which portrays women facing the closure of an aid refuge, and Hands on Clay, a documentary capturing the creative collaboration between two female artists. Trans_CCS follows a trans woman navigating life during lockdown, reflecting my interest in personal stories shaped by social and political realities.
Through my work, I aim to create authentic, immersive narratives that resonate globally. I aspire to develop feature and television projects that amplify marginalised voices while fostering collaborative, inclusive environments, translating my cross-cultural experience and lived perspective into films with emotional and social impact.
